The husband and wife team of Philip Christian Stead and Erin Stead (Illustrator) are an award winning team when it comes to “A Sick Day for Amos McGee”. Not only did this book for children make it on the New York Times bestsellers list but also won the Randolph Caldecott Medal. Not bad for their first book published together.
