Author Mary Ann Hoberman put a fun twist to short stories for children in “You Read to Me, I'll Read to You: Very Short Stories to Read Together”. Each short story is color coded so two each read certain parts of the story and then some parts they read together. To add to the fun of taking turns reading the stories are based on Mother Goose rhymes but with a modern twist such as based on Old Mother Hubbard a woman and her dog decide it’s too cold to go out so they decide to order-in.
