Around the world there a millions who suffer from asthma, young and old. Do not let asthma hold your child back from being successful as a child or when they grow up. Some very familiar and famous people are or have been asthmatic including Charles Dickens (author), John F. Kennedy (35th US President), Beethoven (musician), Christopher Reeve (Superman), Bob Hope (comedian), and Nancy Hogshead (won three gold medals at the 1984 Olympics in swimming). Other celebrities who live with asthma are Billy Joel, Lindsay Lohan, Elizabeth Taylor, and Dennis Rodman.
