Based on the traditional Twelve Days of Christmas this charming and educational book has a Michigan twist to the tale. Katie is invited by her cousin Will to visit his family for the holiday. Each day Will gives Katie a gift and each gift is something related to Michigan. Sand dunes, hockey sticks, cherry sundaes, Dutch girls dancing and jugs of cider along with Michigan lighthouses, horse drawn sleigh and frozen lakes are some of the wonderful features of Michigan.
