Michigan's official state Christmas tree is located at the Lansing  Capital Building. This year’s official state Christmas tree for the  eighth year in a row comes from the Upper Peninsula. On November 4th the  65 foot tall, 30 foot wide, 70 year old white spruce was cut in  Republic Township and loaded on a semi for a two day trip to Lansing....
