We may not be as famous as the Napa Valley but Michigan is home to an outstanding number of wineries. The Michigan winery industry, along with related products such as grapes and grape juice, provide over 5,000 jobs state wide and pay more than 42 million dollars in state and local taxes. Yes the winery industry in Michigan is an important part of our economy.
