Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941 by 353 Japanese aircraft from historic reports. It was a horrid day in history with over 2,400 US personnel killed and over 1,200 wounded. In one day! I am no historian and had to look up these figures as I normally have no interest in historic facts. I would however like to share something I witnessed in 2010 – 69 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor. What are we teaching our children about Pearl Harbor and many other dates in history?
