Studies show that hugs do save lives. Premature babies who receive touch therapy cry less, gain weight faster and have more relaxed pulse, respiration, and muscle tension. A historic location in Lansing, the Michigan Central Railroad Depot, was built in 1903 and later named the Union Depot.
