Just a quick note today but wanted to let my readers know I've been busy today working on a couple projects I've wanted to do for some time now.
Two 'Splash Pages' - if your not failure with splash pages they are quick loading to the point, eye catching web pages. These pages work particularly well on traffic exchanges sites.
Just think about it, the average traffic exchange site gives the reader from 10 to 30 seconds to view a page before they move on to the next page - remember these members are more interested in accumulating credits to get their page seen than they are seeing what you have to offer.
This is why you want to very quickly get your page loaded and the most important information before them before they leave your page. Many of the different traffic exchange sites are actually providing already made splash pages for the members to use for promoting their traffic exchange. If you join or belong to sites that do this, by all means take advantage of the offer.

The 'Best PTC' Sites
As a member of myLot for over a year now two of the most common discussions I've seen involving making money are 'what's the best way to make money online?' and 'what's the best PTC (paid to click) program?'
After spending a length of time studying the PTC programs I belong to I came to the realization early this morning that there really is no ONE best answer for either of these questions. There are simply too many variables that come into play.
Looking at PTC sites alone for me personally I have had the most earnings off ClixSense but it is also the only PTC site I have paid for the upgrade and being from the USA it's reported there are many more targeted ads for my country.
This alone could cause ClixSense not to be the favorite for others.
So, what is a person to do? I have made up a short list of things I look at personally when reviewing a PTC site:
#1 - Do they accept members from my country and others?
#2 - What payment processor(s) do they use?
#3 - What is the payout amount?
#4 - How much are the average or majority of ads pay?
#5 - How many ads do they present on an average day?
#6 - Can I find authentic proofs of payment?
#7 - Is the web site professional and clean?
#8 - Do I encounter numerous problems with the site?
You may ask why or for what purpose I ask myself each of these questions and over the next week or so I will be going into detail about each of these question to hopefully help you become profitable and comfortable with earning money from PTC programs.

Clix4Coins - Is it a Scam?
Clix4coins has been removed from my recommended list and I will not be promoting it at least for the time being.
I did think this was a great site with wonderful earning potential but what happened - couldn't login for several days and then do but all earns have dropped tremendously - mine alone went from almost $9 down to just over 1 cent. Yes, you read that correctly one cent.
I have gotten similar reports from many other members. Admin reports that this is from what I can understand a temporary situation and in the long run will be better for everyone but to me NOT so and Clix4Coins is being added to my 'ThumbsDown' list until I see a major comeback - such as my money earned being replaced.

TopSurfer More than Just a Traffic Exchange
I see and hear a lot of people asking or wondering how they can promote their various referral links to get referrals. Of course the first answer would be to invest the time and/or money in a blog or web site but there are other options.
One of the easiest and cheapest (FREE) is TopSurfer a manual traffic exchange I have discussed in the past. A great feature I haven't discussed is the 'My Page' that TopSurfer offers where you can promote up to 10 different sites, pages, or programs from one simple page.
You can see my own 'My Page' HERE - all you do once you have joined TopSurfer is login to your account, click on the 'Edit or Create "My Page"' button pictured below then you will see the boxes to insert your url(s) and a brief description of the site. Save and you are done - how much easier can that be. Share this one page on traffic exchanges, forums, as part of your e-mail signature.
Two other great features I use daily are the 'Your Wesite's URLs' - make sure you include your referral urls here so you can share each program individually with other TopSurfer members. This is a traffic exchange program so when you view other member's pages they will view yours. If you don't 'surf' you won't be seen.
Seeing as how you are going to be surfing why not make some money at the same time - in my book every little bit helps. You won't get rich at this but TopSurfer also offers a 'Surf Bar' where you can earn cash while surfering. When you click on the 'Surf To Earn More Hits' button you will be taken to a page with a list of different surf bars you can select from.
I use the one pictured here but note the red print below - it says 'Make this your browser's start page' I do this! That way each time you open your browser you are earning cash and credits and with the tabbed browsers I usually have this open while I'm doing other things and just click to another page from time to time. This could be why I have over 6000 unused credits in my account right now :)

Technorati - Get Your Blog Listed
Technorati is the #1 place for the latest in blogs. As far as I'm concerned if you are taking the time to post on a blog you really should be signed up with Technorati - it's FREE, easy, and can help to bring traffic and recognition to your blog.
Of course if your posting just to see yourself post then by all means ignore this advice!
When you sign up with Technorati you will have the opportunity to list your blog or blogs should you have more than one (I have 3). There is no monitary gain directly from Technorati but it is well worth your time and effort to join the millions of other bloggers who are members.
You will get a profile page such as mine shown here http://www.technorati.com/people/technorati/byfaithonly
You can add your friend's blogs to your favorites (please do include me in that) - what this does is on one page will show the most recent posts on your favorite blogs and other people can do the same for you (free publicity).
Another feature is the Technorati 'authority' rating. What this tells you is how many people are 'talking' about your blog on their blogs. By clicking on your 'authority' you can actually see what blogs are active and linking to your blog - this is more pubicity for you from visitors on those blogs as well as the search engines also detect these links.
One last feature I think is terrific about Technorati is the 'ping' feature. What 'pinging' does is sends a little signal out to your blog to pick up the most recent posts on your blog and displays those on your Technorati profile... You can do this manually or some blog systems give the option of having your blog 'pinged' every time you add a new post.

More on the Greatness of Traffic Exchanges

#2 - Save the login page or start page for every traffic exchange you join in this folder.
#3 - Don't waste your time with auto surf traffic exchanges. Most people just start their surfer running and walk away from the computer - I've done this myself hundreds of times - really rack up the credits but guess what - everyone else is doing this too and NO ONE is actually seeing the pages.
#4 - Don't get discouraged. At first it may seem like you never have many credits and have to surf surf surf. This will change if you are persistant.
#5 - Save your referral IDs for all of your traffic exchanges (note pad works great for this - you will want to use those later.
#6 - Promote your traffic exchange referral IDs. Yes, you read correct. At the same time using the same methods that you are promoting your program, service, or product promote your traffic exchange programs. You earn credits from your referrals which means more people will see your links and you'll have to surf less.
#7 - Set back and watch your business grow!

Oh opps I may not have mentioned this but TopSurfer also offers a cash surf program. You surf pages earning views for your sites but also earn CASH - ya gotta love that.
I also have promoted this right along with my other programs and have gotten enough referrals over the years that right now I have a bank of over 5000 credits in my account - that means my web sites will be shown to other people that many times and I don't have to do anything at all...TopSurfer is by far my favorite traffic exchange but there are many other great ones out there some of which are listed on the left panel.

AlertPay - an Alternative to PayPal
First off let me say I have used PayPal for nearly 10 years and have never ever had any problem with them but I do live in the USA and understand particularly those living in other countries do have a problem with them.

What really impresses me is the PTC area - nothing under 1 cent and several 2 cent ads daily since I joined.

Reliable and Consistant
I am telling you, for consistancy Myster-E-Mail has got to win the prize.
This paid to click site doesn't pay a lot, the top pay is 1 cent and it goes down from there but it is always fun getting payments from them. They do random payouts and I've honestly received payments as low and 1 or 2 cents but they pay and you don't wait months to get paid - usually at least once a week.

Getting Organized Working PTCs
Ok, we all know PTCs (Paid to Click programs) are about the easiest money there is to make on the internet. If your not familure with PTCs you simply sign up with a program such as the several I have listed on the left panel, you login to your account, you click on someone else's ad, and you get paid for that.
The problem with working PTCs is they don't pay alot.
To really make the most out of your time, efforts, and the PTC system is to get lots of referrals working under you (you earn from their clicks also) or to work a whole lotta different programs.
Thus we come to the need for being organized.
#1 - Set up a file in your favorites or bookmarks just for your PTC programs. Always try to do this as soon as you join a program and to save time list the login page, not the home page of the site.
#2 - Get yourself a tabbed browser. The newer versions of Windows offers this feature but there are other that do the same thing. With tabbed browsers you can have more than one web site open at the same time all in one window.
#3 - Learn to multi-task! Rather than clicking the ad in one program and setting there waiting the 30 seconds or whatever is required - open 2 or 3 and just switch back and forth between them. In actuality you'll be doubling your money with just 2 sites going at once.
#4 - Keep your eyes on those ads for more opportunities to make money, promote your programs, or learn something more about Internet Marketing.
#5 - Work the PTC programs like a business. If you want to make money not just pennies online then you will need to take this job just like any other job serious.

Enough of That Business Stuff
Ok, had a few posts on Paid to Click programs now it's time for some fun. Over the last few months I have really neglected myLot but they are still there and still PAYING!
If your not familure with myLot you really should check into it because not only is it a terrific way to make some easy money from home but a great place to make new friends and just do some socializing or networking online without concern - myLot staff does a great job of monitoring discussions.
I find it hard to believe that I've now been a member of myLot for a year because it certainly doesn't seem that long - I've gotten paid many many times, made some lifelong friends, and learned a ton about different areas of the country and world. Not to mention it's a great place to practice up on my writing skills :)
My only problem with myLot is I've had several people join with my referral ID but then they don't do anything. What's with that? If you are not active you are not going to earn anything, make friends, or benifit from the system. How difficult can it be to respond to the 1000s of discussions, post your own discussions (ok I have more trouble with this one), upload and share your latest photos, visit some of the many blogs and leave comments?
There are so many ways that you can earn money at myLot there is no exhause in my book not to be making some money - I would love to have you join myLot but would be thrilled to death to have you as an active member there - be sure to check your 'friends' and you'll see me requesting to be your friend. I do my best to respond to my friend's discussions and get an e-mail notification anytime a friend posts one.

How difficult can it be to respond to the 1000s of discussions, post your own discussions (ok I have more trouble with this one), upload and share your latest photos, visit some of the many blogs and leave comments?
There are so many ways that you can earn money at myLot there is no exhause in my book not to be making some money - I would love to have you join myLot but would be thrilled to death to have you as an active member there - be sure to check your 'friends' and you'll see me requesting to be your friend. I do my best to respond to my friend's discussions and get an e-mail notification anytime a friend posts one.

Getting the Most from Your Blog
Over the last few months I've run across many many people who have blogs. A key theme I've seen through-out is most blog owners are trying to make money online.
There are a variety of ways of doing this such as Google adsense (they banned me), getting paid for posting ads for others, or simply promoting a product or service.
Another thing I've seen a lot of, and admit I'm quilty of, is promoting referral links for other paying programs. Lets face it, it's easy to collect a few dollars here and there for clicking on ads, reading emails, or surfing web sites.
I think it's very important for that last group to take a look at blogs as a means of increasing their earnings with very little effort. You can start a blog 100% free of cost, you can list all of your paying programs, you simply promote your blog such as in directories, traffic exchanges, and search engines and guess what!
You'll get referrals!!!
And lets face it if your happy with a few dollars or cents a month fine don't listen to me but if you would like to be making $1000 or more a month you are going to have to get lots of referrals. You can do this on one program or 100 programs. Which ever way the common theme I see of people working these programs is 'how do I get referrals'.
Get the word out to people - that's how! In order for people to know you want to referr them to a program you are going to have to let them know that you do. 1 great way to do this is with a blog, simple as that.

So Much to Do So Little Time
Some days I wonder what on earth it's going to be next. These last few weeks have been just that - hectic and no relief.
Do have those times, be it days, weeks, or months. Maybe even years. For me it seems there is never a dull moment yet I feel like I've done nothing with my life.
I remember several years ago my Mom asked me if I would know what to do with myself if there wasn't something going on. Nope I wouldn't!
So, my great thought for the day is this with so much to do and so little time why do I/we keep looking for more 'things'? Because it's in our nature - what would life be like with nothing going on? Boring!
On that note I am determined to continue as is working on 2 web sites, 2 blogs, and a multitude of online programs along with starting a new business, being mother, grandmother, and friend....
To all my friends at myLot - big hugs and thank you so very much for keeping me in touch with reality and the real world along with all your support and encouragment.

ClixSense
I'm sure I've discussed ClixSense before but I think this is a good time to bring this Paid to Click (PTC) program up again. I've reached payout for the second time since joining and am very glad I paid for the upgrade on this one.
A word of warning - from my friends at myLot it seems not all countries get as many ads to view as the US members do but if you are looking for an easy program to earn with I can at least say "ClixSense DOES PAY" which is better than I can say for many programs out there.
Another tip for getting the most out of your ClixSense account is to login to your account more than once a day. I've found that if I login 3 or 4 times a day there are almost always more ads waiting for me to click on.
Also, and this is true for most all PTC programs - take a look at your categories if they give you an option of picking only a select number of areas to receive ads from. Marketing, internet, home business, anything having to do with online money making tends to offer more ads than say cooking, religion, or such.
