The day before yesterday I posted a discussion on myLot and it was deleted although I have no idea why - I am always very careful about following the guidelines.
The discussion was basically to acquire links to the Nature Inspired Handcrafts Blog.
This is what I offered and will offer here: I need in-bound links to that blog from sites or blogs with similar or related content. Any web site or blog owners who would link to Nature Inspired Handcrafts I will add a link on my blog Faith's Daily Life and Business Blog.
To sweeten the pot, I will also write a review of your site or blog and post it here on my blog. I have gotten paid as much as $20 for a written review and you will get one for free - All I'm asking for is a link from your site or blog to the Nature Inspired Handcrafts Blog.
If you are interested in this offer please leave a comment on this post or e-mail me directly at faiths.business@yahoo.com with 'Link Exchange' in the subject line.
Thanks in advance!

Very Very Busy
Afraid I've been very lax on posting to both Faith's Daily Life and Business Blog and Nature Inspired Handcrafts Blog.
Fact of the matter is my 'internet life' as been pushed aside for some time now but the new business is growing and I am loving it although there are times I am over whelmed and miss my online friends.
So what have I been doing while not setting at the computer writing? Well one of my favorite projects has been 'dream catchers'. I've always been facinated by them but have never made them before.
Thanks to the internet and the wealth of knowledge available I did some research on both how to make them and the history of dreamcatchers .
If you'd like to know more details about how I'm making dream catchers please visit Nature Inspired Handcrafts Blog I'll be making a more detailed post there shortly.

TopSurfer Increases Money Surf Earnings
I know I've discussed TopSurfer in the past but I think this site bares mentioning again.

If you missed my prior post and are not familure with TopSurfer this is a traffic exchange - you register and add your sites you would like to promote. Then you simply use the surf bar to visit the sites of other TopSurfer members - at the same time they are visiting your site.
The really great thing about TopSurfer is they also offer a 'money surf' where at the same time you are visiting member's sites you can also earn CASH! I like this a bunch. In the past the earnings have been 1 Cent for each 35 sites visited but they've been running a special and are paying 2 Cents per 35 sites.
Ok, that may not seem like much but lets face it if you have a site you are promoting why not get paid what you can to 'advertise' rather than paying someone else to do it for you.

TopSurfer is a great site, they've been around for years (I've been a member for over 5 years myself), and I have gotten a lot of referrals for other sites by advertising on TopSurfer.
Don't be surprised if you see my latest blog,
Nature Inspired Handcrafts Blog while surfing at TopSurfer.

Well, I woke this morning to find Yahoo has released a new Yahoo mail system. You don't have to switch but I thought I would try it out as it does say you can switch back to the classic version if you want.
There are a few things I really like about it: drag and drop feature, preview messages, and calendar links at bottom. It's very much like Outlook express.
What I don't like is with the Yahoo ads it is rather cumbersome, as I tend to be doing 50 things at one time most of the time I had many of my emails such as myLot notifications automatically sorted into special folders and this feature didn't transfer over - when I have free time I'll have to see if I can set these up again.
So, how about you? Do you use Yahoo mail? Have you switched to the new version? What are your feelings about it?

New Business - Nature Inspired Handcrafts
It's been a long hard hot summer and I've been very very lax about posting here but I'm back for at least the time being....
Most of the summer has been spent getting a new business going and it has been a lot of work. Nature Inspired Handcrafts is just what the title says - a wide range of products handmade right here in Michigan.
Not only has it meant creating enough items to sell but have been setting up books and records, doing all the accounting, setting up a web site, Nature Inspired Handcrafts, and an online store, Nature Inspired Handcrafts Online Store, but also making arrangements to do local Arts & Crafts Shows.
My major artistic accomplishment thus far beyond what I've been doing for years has been learning to make glass beads (nope we're not using those mass produced store bought beads - each bead is made individually) and learning to make dream catchers (doing my best to keep them as authentic as possible right down to collecting feathers to use on them - I will admit the majority right now have been provided by the variety of chickens out behind the studio).
Next will be stained glass - something I've wanted to learn for years but because of the expense for materials and equipment I haven't been able to do.
For now it's off to bed but will leave you with some links important to me:
